Bicycle activism in N. Carolina--it doesn't get more grassroots than this!
In 1980, Jethro Mann started the Bicycle Lending Library as a way to make sure that every child who wanted one, had a bike to ride.
In Belmont, he's simply known, as "The Bicycle Man."
