Man sentenced for killing pedestrian in KC
H. D. Hughes pleaded guilty this week to drunken driving and careless and imprudent driving. The charges stem from an incident in September 2002. According to the
KCStar article:
Hughes could be sentenced later to up to 18 months. Prosecutors did not file a more serious manslaughter charge because police said Johnson was also drunk and stepped in front of the car.
