Missouri stats on walking

STPP has compiled statistics about walking in Missouri (PDF). Highlights:

Commutes done by foot in Missouri: 2.1%
Federal transportation dollars spent on ped/bike facilities in Missouri: 1.1%
Obese Missouri adults: 23%
Americans who want to walk more: 55%
Americans who want streets designed for slower traffic: 84%
Americans who want their children to be able to walk to school safely: 74%
