According to a KCStar story, as of August 11th, slightly less than half of the 5.3 million available tickets for Olympic events had sold. However, tickets for events at the Olympic velodrome are 100% sold out.
In other Olympic news, the U.S. sent only one entrant for the women's mountain biking events. What's up with that? The road race will be one of the featured Olympic events this Saturday, August 14th, according to an Arkansas Democrat-Gazette story.
