According to an announcement by Paul Dorn of the California Bicycle Coalition, Governor Schwarzeneger has signed California's Safe Routes to School bill into law. The law will provide funding for both improving the physical environment (sidewalks, crosswalks, bike lanes) and for educating and organizing schools, students, and parents to make walking and biking to school easier, safer, and more appealing in California.
Now when is Missouri going to follow suit? |
