The Missouri Bicycle Federation Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Major Donations
Kansas City infoZine had an article today about MoBikeFed's current fund raising campaign:Two of the most respected bicycling organizations in the state of Missouri have taken the lead in kicking off the Missouri Bicycle Federation's Spring Fund Raising Campaign. . . .
Two major donations kicked off the campaign, which has now raised over $6,000 and added over 130 new members of MoBikeFed's roster.
The St. Louis Regional Bicycle Federation showed its support for the statewide advocacy efforts of the Missouri Bicycle Federation with two $500 contributions, one in 2004 and one in 2005.
The Missouri Bicycle Racing Association (MOBRA) showed similar support with a $500 contribution.
Our campaign has raised $6035 already but our goal for the campaign is $10,000.
That is the amount we will need to pay for our bicycle lobbyist (
currently working wonders for us in the Missouri legislature), pay our normal operating expenses, and grow our membership so as to create a stable base for MoBikeFed to become a
real force for better bicycling in Missouri.

make a donation--small or large--here.
