BikeMO, Oct 15th: What is the route like?
BikeMO, MOBikeFed's first annual ride in support of bicycle advocacy in Missouri, is coming up on Saturday, October 15th in central Missouri.

We have riders pre-registered from St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, Rolla, Columbia, and many other areas of the state.
What is the route like?
According to MOBikeFed board member Caryn Giarratano, who lives in the area and often cycles on these routes, "The route is excellent and the countryside is lovely. The terrain is mostly rolling with some flat and a few 'gaspers' on the century route. Of course the scenery makes the effort worth it."
The planned routes are 35 miles, 62, and 100 miles.

I visited the area a few days ago and the leaves are just beginning to turn. October 15th should be close to perfect for viewing fall colors in the area!
The routes are mainly on rural two lane roads in Callaway County.
Photos of Callaway County attractions and
photos of the BikeMO route give an idea of what the area is like.
BikeMo is only $20 with
pre-registration (the fee goes up by $5 the day of the ride).
