Rep. Sutherland Sponsors Bicycle Friendly Legislation in MO

Monday, April 17, 2006

Representative Mike Sutherland, one of the biggest supporters of bicycling and walking issues in the Missouri General Assembly, introduced a resolution in support of Walk/Bicycle to School Day and the Safe Routes to School program in Missouri.

Rep. Sutherland has also introduced a resolution in favor of Bike Month and bill to help build more trails in Missouri State Parks. He has gathered a "caucus" of 50 Missouri legislators who support outdoors oriented activities like bicycling and walking.
