The IMBA/Subaru Trail Care Crew was in Chillicothe last weekend for a workshop. The Green Hills Trails Association has a report and photographs of the weekend's activities:
Instructors Kristin Butcher and Ryan Schutz covered topics including sustainable trail design, basic construction of new trails, turns, drainages, bridges, reroutes and reclamation. They also covered how we could make better use of rocks to protect sensitive areas and mark our trails to make them more enjoyable and useful for everyone.April 7-9 the Trail Care Crew will be in St. Charles, MO, for the 2006 Midwest Mountain Bike Festival. sponsored by GORC. |
