National Public Health Week, April 3-9, 2006. The theme for 2006 was "Designing Healthy Communities, Raising Healthy Kids". Although the week is over the web site still has some great resources.
Columbia, Missouri, cyclist Robert Johnson has started a website called
CommuteColumbia.com. It is designed as a tool to help people start thinking about using active transportation.
An excellent resource that can be printed and distributed about
Teaching your Child to Ride a Bicycle. It covers the basics clearly without any fear-mongering. Even though it is from the Bicycle Helmet Safety Institute it mentions helmets only in context and as appropriate.
