24 Hours of Landahl brings mountain bikers to Missouri
Tuesday, September 18, 2007
Roadies were certainly the focus of Missouri's bicycle world last week, but the Tour of Missouri isn't the only race bringing folks into the state. This weekend mountain bikers from all over the country will be here for the second annual 24 Hours of Landahl, organized by the same folks who run the famous 24 Hours of Moab race in Utah.
The location is Landahl Park Preserve, home to some of the Midwest's top mountain bike trails. The action starts Friday afternoon, with the race itself running from Noon on Saturday until Noon on Sunday. Landahl is located in suburban Kansas City, between Independence and Blue Springs.
