Missouri Bicycle News

We would really like to have people from ALL NINE Missouri Congressional Districts at the National Bike Summit this year.

We have participants committed from four of the nine Congressional Districts.

So that means we are LOOKING for people from these Congressional Districts:

2 Todd Akin (Kirkwood, Chesterfield, St. Charles, St. Peters)
3 Russ Carnahan (St. Louis)
4 Ike Skelton (Jefferson City, Warrensburg, Sedalia)
6 Sam Graves (KC Northland, St. Joseph, Chillicothe)
7 Roy Blunt (Springfield, Joplin, Branson)

Even just one person from one of these districts could make a real difference.

Attending the National Bike Summit is one of the most effective things we do to help move bicycling forward in Missouri--on the federal, state, and local level.

These national elected leaders have incredible connections and pull on all these levels--even at the local level.

We need to get them all educated about the importance of planning for good, safe walking and bicycling environment.

The best way to do that is by having their own constituents, average citizens, visit with them.
