Tour of Missouri 2008 route announced Wednesday

Governor Blunt and Lt. Governor Kinder are holding a press conference today, January 30th, 10:30am, at the Truman Hotel in Jefferson City, to unveil the start and finish cities for the 2008 Tour of Missouri.
Details about the planned route have leaked out in advance, and if these are confirmed the 2008 Tour will involve 7 days (one day longer than last year) with stops in St. Joseph, Kansas City, Clinton, Springfield, Branson, Lebanon, Rolla, St. James, Jefferson City, Hermann, St. Charles, and St. Louis.
The Rolla Daily News confirmed that "there are going to be some happy folks in this part of the state" and that the economic impact of the 2007 Tour has been estimated at $26 million.
