MoDOT hires new statewide Bicycle/Pedestrian Engineer
MoBikeFed received the following announcement from Joe Jones of MoDOT's design division today:
I am pleased to announce that Melissa Anderson of the Design Division has accepted the position of Non-motorized Transportation Engineer. While this position is closely related to the past position of Bicycle Pedestrian Coordinator, it promises to serve an even greater base given the addition of duties concerning the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
MoDOT is genuinely a department of transportation and I look forward to a positive and productive future in the non-motorized mode. Please extend your congratulations to Melissa and make her welcome as she begins this new task.
